This means about one in every five mothers faces this profound loss; you’re not alone if this is you.

Every 22 minutes in America, a family faces the unthinkable: a stillbirth. That’s 1 in 160 pregnancies or 24,000 cribs empty each year.

FAQs: An EMDR-based Approach for
Support & Healing

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based psychotherapy treatment originally designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. It’s now used to treat various psychological issues, including grief and loss.

EMDR can help process the traumatic aspects of pregnancy loss, reduce emotional distress, and facilitate healing. It can address feelings of guilt, shame, depression, and anxiety often associated with pregnancy loss.

Yes, one of the unique aspects of our group EMDR therapy is that participants process their experiences non-verbally. There is no requirement to share your story or speak about your loss out loud to the group. Instead, the therapy utilizes EMDR’s bilateral stimulation techniques and guided visualizations to help you process your emotions and memories internally. This approach allows clients to reduce distress and change their perspective in just one group session.

No prior therapy experience is necessary. This group is suitable for women at various stages of their healing journey. The group sessions are designed to be less intrusive than individual therapy, which can sometimes require addressing deeply personal issues more extensively.

The cost for the 3-hour processing session is $399. However, we’re offering a special rate of $299 for the months of March and April.

To secure your spot, we require full payment at the time of booking. This fee is non-refundable, but we do allow rescheduling with at least two weeks’ notice.

We are deeply committed to your healing because we understand that this kind of pain doesn’t just go away on its own. It takes courage and commitment to take this step toward feeling better, and we want to honor that commitment by ensuring you show up for yourself. This session is your chance to find relief, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
